Dr. Kevin Pisle founded Lima Area Spine + Sport around a simple belief: capacity is built, not found. After years of chasing that principle in his own life and career, he brought it home to Lima to build a practice centered on helping active people move without limitation — not just chase temporary relief.
Dr. Pisle’s path started in the Marine Corps infantry, where he served four years, including two deployments to Afghanistan — physical demands that left him with his own history of low back pain, at times bad enough to make simple tasks like lifting his newborn son from the crib a struggle. After earning a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Capital University, he went on to Logan University, graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2021. He later spent two years teaching flexion-distraction technique at Logan, training the next generation of chiropractors in disc-related spine care.
Dr. Pisle has worked with high-performing athletes throughout his career, including masters national champion tennis players, competitive powerlifters, and the St. Louis Ambush professional indoor soccer team. Now pain-free and unrestricted, he built Lima Area Spine + Sport around the same principle that got him there.
